Perfect for hot bike rides! This thing keeps my head noticeably cooler on long summer rides, giving me about an hour of real relief before it needs a refreeze. The flower shape spreads across the head instead of pressing in one spot, so it tucks into my helmet padding without feeling bulky, and it honestly feels great! Only downside is you get two in a pack, so I'd grab a spare set.

The IceBrim
Stay cool when the heat won't quit.
When the sun's beating down and your hat turns into a sweatbox, The IceBrim is the fix. Freeze it, drop it into your cap or helmet, and get instant, long-lasting cooling right where you need it most — the top of your head.
The soft gel molds to your head and stays put, so there's no bulk, no pressure, and no shifting while you move. It works under hard hats on the jobsite, catcher's helmets behind the plate, riding helmets on the road, and everyday caps in the backyard.
Built from tough, leakproof TPU and non-toxic cooling gel, it's reusable hundreds of times. Freeze it, use it, rinse it, repeat. Simple cooling that actually holds up.

How to use
How to use
Place you IceBrim flat in your fridge or freezer for 15-30 minutes, or as long as desired. Once it's frozen, slip it inside your hat, helmet, or cap — the flexible flower shape conforms to your head and stays in place. When it melts, re-freeze and use again. For quick relief, press it against your forehead or the back of your neck.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the cooling last?
Around 1-2 hours of active cooling per freeze, depending on the heat and how it's worn. Keep a spare frozen and swap them out to stay cool all day.
How long does it take to freeze?
15-30 minutes in the freezer, or 30-60 minutes in the fridge.
Is the gel safe?
Yes. It's made from leakproof TPU and non-toxic gel. It won't leak, even after repeated freezing.
Can I reuse it?
Yes — hundreds of times. Freeze, use, then wipe or rinse clean and air dry. It holds its shape and cooling power.
Will it fit my hat?
It's 7.09 inches (18 cm) across and fits inside most caps, sun hats, hard hats, catcher's and riding helmets, and chef hats. The flexible shape molds to your head.

"okkkk this actually works?!"
"was honestly skeptical bc it's just a gel flower thing lol but I froze it overnight and threw it in my helmet before a 30 mile ride and my head was actually cool for once. no more taking my helmet off at every light like a weirdo. buying a second set so I always have a frozen one ready to go.!"

"My scalp thanks you"
"After years of finishing rides looking like I'd just stepped out of a shower, I finally caved and tried one of these, and I'm mildly annoyed I didn't do it sooner. The cold lasts just long enough to get me through the worst of the midday heat, and the shape means it doesn't feel like I've got a hockey puck strapped to my skull. Two per pack is stingy, but I've already ordered a second set so I'm never caught without a frozen one."

"Practical accessory, manage expectations on duration"
Overall, a solid, well-designed product for anyone cycling regularly in summer conditions. The build quality is good — the gel stays pliable even fully frozen, so it conforms to the head rather than sitting rigid like a traditional ice pack, and I haven't noticed any leaking after repeated freeze cycles. The main consideration is duration: cooling is most effective in the first half hour and tapers off after that, so it's best suited to shorter rides or as part of a rotation for longer ones. A reasonable investment for the comfort improvement it provides.
